Attorney McDermott assists the firm’s clients in municipal law, land use, and litigation matters. He has more than five years of experience counseling clients on general municipal law, licensing, land use, and all aspects of municipal zoning and permitting processes. His experience also includes advising and representing clients in landlord/tenant matters, residential and commercial closings and leasing, title curative litigation, and foreclosure matters.

Attorney McDermott has represented a variety of clients including municipalities, private developers, homeowners, small business owners, and institutional lenders. He has represented these clients in a broad range of cases including zoning determinations, permitting appeals, and land use disputes in front of the Massachusetts Superior Court, Massachusetts Land Court, and local Conservation Commissions, Planning Boards and Zoning Boards of Appeal. Attorney McDermott has also regularly represented clients in matters before the Massachusetts Housing Court, Massachusetts Division of Professional Licensure, and Massachusetts District Courts.
