Following a 3-day trial in Suffolk Superior Court, attorney Jackie Cowin obtained a verdict in favor of the defendant Boston Housing Authority on a tenant’s claim that a defective window fell and injured him, due to the negligence of the BHA. In response to special verdict questions, the jury found that the BHA was not negligent. Prior to trial, Attorney Cowin successfully moved to preclude the plaintiff from trying contract claims he had asserted against the BHA based on the same alleged facts.
