Attorney Amy Kwesell has 23 years of experience in land use, regulatory, energy and environmental law including wetlands and coastal permitting, dredging projects and Chapter 91 licensing. She has represented municipalities, regional regulatory commissions and private parties in proceedings before the Land Court, Superior Court, and administrative bodies (including the Department of Environmental Protection, Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, Department of Public Utilities/Energy Facilities Siting Board and the Division of Administrative Law Appeals), and in appellate cases. Attorney Kwesell has also represented clients before federal courts including the Environmental Appeals Board. Before joining the firm, she was a partner at a Boston law firm, where she practiced land use law, energy law, environmental law, real estate and associated litigation.
Attorney Kwesell served on the Scituate Conservation Commission for 6 years (5 years as Chair) and the Marshfield Conservation Commission for 9 years (8 as Chair) and is an active participant in her local municipal government having served on the Community Preservation Committee, Waterways Committee, Playground Committee and Superintendent Search Committee.
