On September 11, 2012, Attorney Patricia Cantor will conduct a free seminar sponsored by the Town of Southampton on the topic “Recent Development in the State Open Meeting Law Affecting Municipalities.” It will be held at the New Town Hall, first floor meeting room, in Southampton.
Attorney Cantor will address the changes in the Open Meeting Law that became effective on July 1, 2010, and subsequent regulations and interpretations of the law by the Attorney General’s Division of Open Government, the newly created agency now responsible for administering the law.
